If you just stumbled on here, Welcome. I have been wanting to start a blog for sometime now but due to time constraints it has been very difficult and i didn’t want to start a half hearted blog so i thought i would wait till i had the time to do a decent job of it . The whole inspiration behind the blog really is to provide more information on our products. It is not possible to give very detailed information in the products descriptions so i thought a blog would be an idea platform where more detailed information can be provided on all individual products.

I have always had an alternative approach to health and have always been a fan of herbal and natural alternative therapies. My fascination grew into using organics, whenever possible and once I discovered beauty products that are made with natural, organics and botanicals I could not contain my excitement. I fell in love straight away and wanted to share this knowledge.

More and more people are discovering the benefits of using products that are made ethically, however it’s such a shame that big companies take advantage of this and are casually manufacturing products that would boldly claim to be ethical when they are not. As a result a lot of people buy products that carry descriptions such as ‘Natural’ without having any doubts, when in reality that product would in the long term cause damage to your health. Good products that are made sensitively were once very expensive and only the affluent with an obscene disposable amount could afford products made with organic, herbal and natural ingredients. These days the demand for these products has increased which is increasingly having an effect on prices and has driven down the cost of skincare and health products that are made with good health in mind. These days everybody can afford skincare, make-up or even hygiene products that are not toxic to the body and one’s health. There is really no excuse for buying a cleanser from a big named company that is famous when the product contains synthetics and would give instant false results but has long term effects on your health.

Another exciting thing about this industry that produce and promote the use of natural products is that a lot of the manufacturers are small organizations who only produce in small batches by hand taking every care and put in a lot passion in making their products. These people are mostly professionals in the CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) industry, holistic specialist and herbalist with years of studies into how using natural products benefits the body.

They mostly also operate a fair trade when sourcing their raw materials around the world. This means that they have good relationships with the local farmers and co-op’s that they buy from and pay a decent price to locals without exploiting them. This form of trade is interesting and there would be more information in a later blog.
