AlternateStyle was set up in April 2007. Inspired by a personal search for alternative treatments for chronic sinus discomforts, allergies and adult acne. Discovering natural skincare and wellbeing products that have been completely made from natural ingredients was an eye opener and this spurred the path of bringing to the attention of consumers the benefits of using natural products and also make people aware of the harm that most of the popular brands we have grown accustomed to can cause us, as they usually contain dangerous synthetic petrochemicals (with mineral oil usually the chief ingredient)and other undesirable ingredients.

Everything applied on the skin eventually ends up in our blood stream, which is why it is important when buying beauty and health products, we need to be careful with the products we invest our money in.
