The Exfoliating Sponge is an 100% biodegradable sponge which is made from surplus Twigs that usually grows around cocoa trees. It was originally used to give sacred baths to chiefs when they died in Ghana. They are now however used by many families for its exfoliating benefits. The sponge provides gentle exfoliation removing dead skin cells, stimulating circulation which improves the look of lumpiness created by cellulite and also removes dead skin cells.
The Exfoliating sponges are made in Ghana by farmer’s wives who beat the twigs to form long strips of thread and after drying in the sun weave into a ball. These sponges are not dyed or chemically treated and it drains easily after use and so does not hold on to bacteria and fungi growth like loofahs does easily.

Tips:These Exfoliating sponge can be used for bathing or used to wash dishes(Although you would have to get separate sponges for body and kitchen work).
Use to gently massage lumps formed by cellulite to see an improved effect.
